WoWcast #2

So I’ve been paying a lot this week, worked my way up to level 53  over the past week.  Only five levels are left until I head out through the Dark Portal and into Outlands so I can see some fabulous “new to me” content.   Right now i’m grinding my way through Felwood and Azshara which are dull kind of zones in the North of Kalimdor.

What really has been piqueing my interest lately has been trying to figure out what I’m going to do with Vermy once I get him up to level 70.  There are a varety of things  to do at level 70.  In fact it’s often been said that the game really doesn’t start till 70 because all of a sudden therea re more options than their were on the way up.  What makes this interesting is that one of the options I’m considering is looking for a raiding guild

A raiding guild is one which is focused on completing high end end game content.  The thing that makes this intereesting is that, joining a raiding guild is a lot like applying for a job.  There are pre-requisites of acquiring gear and being able to  pass a trial and those sorts of thing so that they can gauge your level of talent  and preparation for raiding.

You might ask, why would someon go through such a work-like process to play a game and it’d be hard to give you a great answer, but that’s part of playing the game.  The guild I’m in now is full of a lot of real life friends of one of my best friend but frankly some of them aren’t impressive players; they break really cardinal rules of rummaging through dungeons and frankly it drives me nuts.
